Turkey Burger


Ingredients:

1 lb ground turkey (I used 85% lean 15% fat because I find that the “leaner” the meat is, the drier the burger will turn out)

1 egg

Salt/pepper, Italian seasonings, all purpose seasonings

1 Tbsp cold milk

1 Tbsp cold butter

EVOO (extra virgin olive oil)


Toppings:

American cheese

Sliced Roma tomatoes

Romaine lettuce

Ketchup

Mustard

Whole grain hamburger bun


Directions:

1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl with a spatula & divide into 4 sections

2. Heat a large pan over medium heat (if you have a grill, 10/10 suggest using that instead)

3. Drizzle pan with EVOO, roll 1/4 ground turkey mixture into a ball, and flatten into a patty in the pan; repeat with other 3 sections

4. Cook patties for about 5 minutes on inside, flip & cook for about 4 minutes on the other side

5. Toast buns in pan drizzled w/ EVOO for about 2 minutes

6. Assemble burgers w/ toppings or any way ya want

7. Enjoy!!
