Aldi Ingredients:
Brown basmati rice $3.49
Lettuce $2.69
Ground Turkey $5.79
Taco seasoning $0.42
Bell peppers $2.69
Onions $2.19
Plain Greek yogurt $3.49
Black bean salsa $2.29
Shredded cheddar cheese $1.49
***already had olive oil, seasonings (salt, pepper, chili powder, cumin) & minced garlic

Makes ~6 servings

Directions:
1. Rinse 1 cup rice until the water runs clear & boil in 3 cups of salted water for ~20 minutes or until the water is fully gone; fluff rice with a fork
2. Heat a large pan over medium heat, add a drizzle of olive oil, & sauté/brown ground Turkey seasoned with taco seasoning for ~10 minutes or until the meat is full cooked
3. Chop, wash & dry lettuce
4. Dice peppers & onions, season with salt, pepper, chili powder, cumin & minced garlic, & sauté in the same pan used for the meat for ~7 minutes or until onions are translucent
5. Assemble your taco salad with lettuce, rice, ground Turkey, plain Greek yogurt (it tastes like sour cream & has extra protein), salsa, & cheese
6. Enjoy!!
